About The Night of Honour

Sheffield's Night of Honour 2008 is an evening dedicated to the unsung heroes of the city. We will be presenting awards to people who make a positive difference to the city of Sheffield. The ten awards are sponsored by local organisations and presented by the VIPs and dignitaries of the City. As well as the awards, there is a whole host of entertainment from local performers which adds energy and fun to the night.

Sheffield's Night of Honour rivals the Oscars for glitz and glamour but instead of honouring the rich and famous, we salute the ordinary folk of Sheffield who live extraordinary lives.

Sheffield's Night of Honour is an initiative of Hope City Enterprise, the charity of The Megacentre. Hope City Enterprise exists to equip, inspire and launch people into greatness. From providing emergency food hampers to a residential facility for young women with life controlling issues, Hope City Enterprise aims to create a culture of success within the city of Sheffield.

Hope City Enterprise is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Registered charity No 1110314.

A word from Hope City Enterprise

Dave Gilpin

Sheffield's Night of Honour is like no other awards ceremony. Now in its 6th year, Sheffield's Night of Honour rewards the unsung heroes of the city who have deliberately gone out of their way to make a difference to other people's lives.

In previous years we have celebrated teachers, children, foster carers, caretakers, shop assistants, firemen, sports teams and many other individuals and organisations from across the city. So why not join us this year as we honour our city's champions.

We have got the VIPs, the awards, the entertainment and the tuxedoes, all we need is you! Nominate, sponsor, spread the word . it's time to hop on board.

See you in November,

Dave Gilpin
